Who is responsible
This site is operated by Emanuel Elias, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. For any privacy matter, write to contact [at] emanuelelias.eng.br.
What data is collected
Only what you type into the contact form: name, work email, company, phone number (optional), how you found me (optional) and message. The hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs (IP address, date and browser) for security.
Why it is used
To answer your message and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is your consent and pre-contractual procedures under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
Cookies and tracking
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to measure audience and improve the content. It may set cookies and collect pseudonymous usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type, which can be processed on Google servers outside your country. Your language choice is stored in your browser only, to remember your preference. You can block analytics with your browser settings or an extension, or use Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Sharing and retention
Data is not sold or shared for advertising. It is processed by the hosting and email providers needed to run the site and kept only as long as needed to handle your request, and for up to 24 months afterwards.
Your rights
Under article 18 of the LGPD you may ask to confirm, access, correct, delete or port your data, or withdraw consent. Visitors in other countries have equivalent rights under laws such as the GDPR (European Union and United Kingdom), the CCPA and CPRA (California), the APPI (Japan) and the PDPA (Singapore and Thailand). International transfers
Your message is received in Brazil and handled by the hosting and email providers used to run this site, which may process data in other countries. By submitting the form you consent to this processing, and I keep it to what is needed to answer you.

In client projects I design and document solutions with the applicable frameworks in mind, such as the GDPR, LGPD, CCPA, APPI, PDPA and, for financial reporting controls, SOX. I work under your policies and an NDA, and legal compliance is a joint effort with your legal and security teams.
